Limestone Coast Wines
We like to think of ourselves as a humble winery producing great things. Our family owned and operated business crafts some of The Limestone Coast’s and Australia’s finest cool climate wines. Finding the balance between the old and new - where timeless craftsmanship meets state of the art processing equipment - the original Stonehaven facility from which we now operate won international acclaim as Winery Of The World at the 2001 San Francisco wine awards. The Winery is surrounded by 36ha of vineyards on famous Padthaway Limestone. When only the best will do we source fruit from the six flagship regions of The Limestone Coast providing a wide range of varieties and the best grapes from each terroir. The Lakes Distillery
The Lakes Distillery uses a mixture of traditional and modern distilling techniques to bring its unique range of spirits to the market. In addition to producing the award winning first ever British Isles blended whisky The ONE we will be distilling on an artisan level our award winning gin The Lakes Gin in addition to The Lakes Vodka and a premium single malt whisky The Lakes Malt. Set in the backdrop of the beautiful Lake District National Park close to Bassenthwaite Lake in an area of unimaginable beauty encircled by Cumbrian fells The Lakes Distillery's surroundings host the perfect setting for distilling. Outfitted with a world class team the distillery is run by a number of key individuals including the company’s founder Paul Currie who set up the Arran whisky distillery company in 1995 Alan Rutherford one of the world’s leading authorities on malt whisky and Chris Anderson the chief distiller formerly of Dewar’s distillery where he spent 30 years overseeing the production of whisky in five different distilleries. The magical art of distilling has returned to Cumbria once again.

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society
The Scotch Malt Whiskey Society began over 30 years ago when a group of discerning friends shared the price of a single cask of fine malt whisky. The aroma of the cask was wonderful and it tasted even better. It was the first of many! Today the Society bottles over 300 single casks a year from a wide range of different distilleries. Only the very best single cask single malt whiskey is selected having been approved by the Society's respected Tasting Panel.
Chateau Los Boldos
Created in 1991 with the aim of producing Premium wines from Chile. Its founder envisioned wines that would benefit from century old French winemaking techniques combined with Chile’s terroir potential and ability to produce outstanding wine grapes. This dream was materialized in a single vineyard property and winery in Cachapoal Andes region 100 km. south of Santiago gathering unique conditions to produce its wines controlling every single part of the process. The vineyard that existed previously boosted an amazing opportunity and potential for production of Icon wines due to its old plantations (Cabernet Sauvignon parcel from 1948 and a Merlot parcel from 1959). Along the years Chateau Los Boldos affirmed itself as a Premium Chilean wine producer. This was acknowledged not only by the awards and recognition achieved by its wines but also by the interest it raised across markets around the world which lead to its well-established presence in different parts of the globe. In 2008 Chateau Los Boldos became part of Sogrape Family. Seeing the terroir quality and nobility Sogrape instigated a vast program of reform and investment. Henri Maire is a company with 300 hectares of vines and around 400 employees which produces and markets a complete range of Jura wines using the economic model of direct sales to individuals. Four million bottles of Henri Maire wines are sold each year, mainly in France but also abroad. H E Silos Forbes
E Silos was better known as Hillston Engineering back in 1969 when it first began operations in Hillston NSW. H E silos developed throughout the years evolving from a general engineering company into one of NSW leading silo manufacturing companies. H E Silos grew through the early years from agricultural machinery onto building fabrication and erection of silos. In 1972 the ever-growing demand for silos was evident so H E Silos moved solely onto the manufacture and maintenance of grain silos. The few years that H E Silos maintained operations in Hillston it was obvious that they needed to centralize operations into the wheat belt so in 1984 H E Silos opened a modern factory in Forbes. The factory is still operating and used today. In 1997 H E Silos began operations up north by opening a new factory in Gunnedah NSW which allows the company to spread logistics throughout NSW. As the years pasted and demand grew; H E Silos Forbes decided the best way to maintain production was to increase productivity. In 2011 an additional state-of-the-art shed was built in Forbes which allowed for the smooth transition into a production line whilst adding to the amount of jobs created for the Forbes community.

Groundworks has exclusive availability of 30 000+- more Medjool Dates in those size ranges with thousands more in smaller sizes. Our inventories in Alvin are available for immediate delivery and palms from our inventory pool are available with just 7 days advance notice. Groundworks also stocks many other varieties of cold hardy palms including Silver Saws Bismarckia (Silver select) Australian Fan palms Sylvestris Dates and incredible Mediterranean fan palm clusters to name just a few. In addition to our inventories of Specimen palms we operate a 250 acre nursery in Alvin called Texas American Tree Farm. At TATF we have approximately 60 000 cold hardy palms under production.
